Fall is Fallin'

Yeap (meant the spelling) fall is here again. I like fall; I like the changing in the weather. I used to really like the smell in the air in the US. And the feeling with all the leaves changing and the fact that you have to wear a sweatshirt. You can eat a lot, too. Chicken, hot dogs, pizza (not sure what that has to do with my post tho) but I just love eating. If I were in the states I'd probably be 300+ pounds. Anyway, in fall food is in the air. And around the end of November there's Thanksgiving - my favo food holyday (meant that spelling too) with turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, the works. After that is Christmas - my fav holiday. I always loved Xmas, and I never thought I'd be living out of America around that time of year. Well, as fate would have it, I'm 10,000 miles away in the far far east (oops, capital E). However far away I am, I always try to instill the spirit of Christmas in the people I'm with and the people I meet.

During writing classes this semester, we're going to be writing things like the above. And we're going to be writing a lot of blog posts/entries/comments. It's great practice for students to put forth ideas/hopes/themes/thoughts/feelings and desires. This semester we'll be doing manaba every week (at least) for homework (definitely) and sometimes during class. We'll be using the textbook to get a good grasp of the basics - it:'s good for students to know basic writing aspects, and we'll be bloga bloga blogging.

New Writing Classes

This is a blog for my new writing  IB classes on Monday, 2nd period at KGU. We will do many things in the classes, including blogs, manaba, and we'll also work in textbook. Please bring your books, notes, and pencils to the class, and of course, a good spirit to learn and try English! If you have any problems with the class, please check this blog, e-mail me, or ask me in person. I will help you as much as I can. Good luck!

Writing can be easy! Let's have fun.
